EUCOJUST has been awarded a grant by the European Commission (JLS/ISEC) to implement a project against counterfeit medicines.

Counterfeit medicines are a growing threat for the security of the European Citizen because of its threat on public health and because of the growing involvement of criminal networks. The project will identify good law enforcement practices against counterfeit medicines in Europe. A conference will be organised and support will be provided to all regulatory authorities in Europe. The project has been presented by EUCOJUST in partnership with the French National Judicial Customs (SNDJ), the German Criminal Customs (ZKA) and the UK Regulatory Agency for Medicines (MHRA).
